ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Content Writer to produce the English-language editorial output of CryptoThreads.io, our Web3 insights platform. You will write explainers, deep dives, and data-driven analysis for readers who range from curious newcomers to professional investors. You own the words: research, drafting, sourcing, and revision.

Crypto is a YMYL (Your Money or Your Life) category under Google's guidelines. Every claim you publish must be traceable to a primary source. Accuracy is the job, not a nice-to-have.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Writing & Production

•    Write 3 publish-ready articles per week in English — explainers, how-to guides, protocol and product breakdowns, and data-driven analysis (typically 1,200–2,000 words).

•    Turn SEO briefs into finished drafts that genuinely satisfy the search intent behind the target keyword, without keyword stuffing.

•    Publish to the CMS end-to-end — formatting, internal links, images and alt text, byline, and metadata — and work with the SEO Specialist on refreshes and internal linking.

Research & Accuracy

•    Verify every number, date, and claim against a primary source: protocol documentation, on-chain data, official announcements, audit reports, or filings. Secondary media coverage is a lead, not a citation.

•    Cite sources inline, and flag what you could not verify instead of smoothing over it. Declare any position you hold in a token or project before writing about it.

•    AI assistants are allowed for research, outlining, and line editing, but the final copy must be your own writing, fact-checked by you. Passing off undisclosed AI-generated text as original work is a serious breach of our editorial standards.

Voice & Credibility

•    Adapt register across beginners, active investors, and technical readers without either dumbing down or showing off, and apply the CryptoThreads style guide — including how we handle price talk (we do not make price predictions).

•    Publish under a consistent author identity with a public author profile, and write headlines that describe the article honestly: no clickbait, nothing that reads as financial advice. Author credibility is part of our E-E-A-T strategy.

REQUIREMENTS

Mandatory

•    At least 2 year of professional writing experience with published work you can show. Send 2–3 writing samples with your application — a CV on its own will not be reviewed.

•    Strong written English: you can produce publication-quality English without a translator (our platform publishes in English).

•    Working knowledge of crypto and blockchain fundamentals — wallets, tokens, DeFi, Layer-2 — enough to read a protocol's documentation and understand what it actually does.

•    Research discipline: you can find and read primary sources, and you know the difference between a source and a rumor.

•    Basic SEO literacy: search intent, heading structure, internal linking, and working from a keyword brief. You will not be asked to run Ahrefs or own SEO strategy.

•    Comfortable publishing in a CMS and holding a weekly publishing schedule.

•    Willing to write under a consistent public byline and author profile.

•    Have your own laptop for work.

Preferred (Bonus)

•    Published crypto, Web3, fintech, or financial content — especially explainers or research pieces carrying your byline.

•    Ability to pull your own numbers from on-chain and market data sources (Etherscan, Dune, DefiLlama, CoinGecko).

•    Experience writing for a global English-speaking audience rather than a local market.

•    Vietnamese–English bilingual writing; some source material and interviews are in Vietnamese.

•    A background in journalism, communications, finance, or a technical field.

•    Able to build a simple table or chart to support an argument.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Location: Netland Building, 27 Le Van Luong, Thanh Xuan, Ha Noi

Working time: Mon – Fri (8:30–17:30) + 2 Saturdays/month (8:30–16:30)

Reports to: CryptoThreads Team Leader

Works with: SEO Specialist, designers, and the research team
