Through timely news, in-depth research, and market analysis, it helps builders, investors, and industry participants navigate developments across blockchain, token economics, infrastructure, regulation, and emerging technologies.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an SEO Specialist to own the organic growth of CryptoThreads.io — our Web3 insights platform. You will be responsible for the site's technical health, search visibility, and E-E-A-T credibility. This is a hands-on SEO role: you will run audits, fix indexing issues, build topical authority, and work with our writers and developers to turn content into rankings and traffic.

Crypto is a YMYL (Your Money or Your Life) category under Google's guidelines — quality, accuracy, and trust signals are non-negotiable in everything we publish.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical SEO

• Own Google Search Console: monitor index coverage, diagnose and resolve indexing/noindex issues, manage sitemaps, submit and track priority URLs.

• Implement and maintain structured data (JSON-LD schema: Article, Organization, Author, FAQ, Breadcrumb).

• Run periodic site audits; track Core Web Vitals and coordinate fixes with the development team.

• Monitor site health after Google algorithm updates and propose responses.

On-page & Content SEO

• Build keyword research and topical maps for the crypto/Web3 content roadmap; write SEO briefs for writers.

• Optimize and refresh existing articles: titles, headings, internal linking, content structure, and freshness signals.

• Strengthen E-E-A-T: author pages and author identity, an editorial-standards page, sourcing and citation practices, and publisher trust signals.

• Write or co-write SEO-driven articles when needed (comparisons, explainers, data-driven pieces).

Off-page SEO

• Execute link building: outreach to relevant crypto/Web3 publications, partnerships, guest contributions, and digital PR.

• Monitor the backlink profile; identify and disavow toxic links; ensure full compliance with Google's spam policies (no PBNs, no link schemes, no expired-domain tactics).

Measurement & Reporting

• Deliver monthly SEO reports from GSC and GA4: organic traffic, impressions/CTR, indexed pages, ranking movements, and referring domains.

• Track competitors among leading crypto media; propose data-backed improvements.

REQUIREMENTS

Mandatory

• At least 3 years of hands-on SEO experience

• Proficiency with Google Search Console, GA4, and Ahrefs or SEMrush.

• Experience with a website crawling/audit tool (Screaming Frog or equivalent).

• Good written English (our platform publishes in English).

• Working knowledge of crypto/blockchain fundamentals (DeFi, tokens, Layer-2) — enough to judge whether content is accurate.

• Understanding of E-E-A-T, YMYL content requirements, and Google's spam policies.

• Analytical thinking; comfortable making decisions from data rather than intuition.

• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with writers and developers.

• Have your own laptop for work.

Preferred (Bonus)

• SEO experience with Web3, blockchain, fintech, or other YMYL niches.

• Hands-on schema/structured data implementation; basic HTML or familiarity with Next.js/Vercel sites.

• Experience optimizing for global (English-language) markets.

Working time: Mon – Fri (8:30–17:30) + 2 Saturdays/month (8:30–16:30)
